1. What ages were the WBCH students in our group? 6~8 yrs
2. What did we teach? I taugh them a korean music, culture, writing, food, and history.
3. How did they react? The youngest children were did not care about other countries, because they didn’t even knew about their culture, so i think it was natural. however, kids with 8 yrs old were interested about other culture because they know some history or basic knowledge.
4. What did the WBCH students present to us? they showed us the American dancing like a hip hop moves.
5. In addition to what the WBCH student explicitly presented to us, what did we learn from the interaction? they showed us their culture and we showed them our culture. Also, we learn English from each other.
6. How are the children at WBCH different from and/or the same as children from your own country? they’re pretty same as my country children. they like to lark each other.

I met John last wedsday.
He and I went to library and we barrow a laptop.
We were trying to find some a news articles.
But nothing were interested us.
He told me about his passport that which is he has to fill out with stamps,
so that he can graduate.
Also, we saw some videos about tennis because he was interested in that sport.
And I showed him Korean singers, but I don’t think he was interest.
It was really tired day but it is nice to talk with John. I think he is very nice and helpful person and kind of funny. I think.

I met a John right after the class.
We went to library and talk for 2 hours.
It was really long time but we had some fun.
He helped me with a so many things like a FAFSA, Queen Elizabet, scholarships, and
more and more things. Also, I learned more about John today.

Last monday, i talked with John.

My goal is to be a Dentist. That’s why I came to VCU and I chose the major for Biology. In VCU, there is no pre-dentist for the major, so I’m going to study biology and then when I go to graduate school, then I will study in dental area. I’ve done to get a dental assistant degree and I used to volunteer at hospital for dental assistant too. But right now, I do not have a time to volunteering but I will work on it on this summer. Also, I still have to study hard and get out of ELP as soon as possible, and to go to MCV.
